Speaking of award winning weddings – this lavender wedding at Bilston creek definitely takes the cake . Brianne and marks wedding was something to behold, it was a finalist in the 2019 Vancouver Island Wedding Awards and won best over all stationary! (good job Good Party Stationary!) Of course all the beautiful weddings we put together couldn’t be done without the amazing teams that we work alongside.
Bilston Creek in Metchosin BC has the most beautiful raw edge tables. They fit effortlessly with their exposed beam farm house, featuring rows upon rows of lavender on the walls its hard to miss the sweet smell as you walk in the room. Did we mention that the venue looks over their lavender farm with floor to ceiling windows, and sliding patio doors?
Using the natural colour pallet of the venue, this wedding was decorated with our mauve Rose Depression glasses, pulling the lavender hues out of the walls and onto the table. Black Rimmed Glass Chargers sat scattered on Bilston’s raw edge table, to match the stark black seating chart, and chairs. On top of the dinner wear sat a classic charcoal linen napkin. The linen effortlessly brought together the natural theme going on through the event. Of course, all topped off with a simple sprig of lavender and our classic gold cutlery. Platinum floral designs did an amazing job decorating the seating chart and adding a bit of fun to the table with bud vases of florals.
Its impossible to have a bad wedding day when your ceremony is under a beautiful towering tree, dripping in a stunning floral installment. Trends Tarno chairs were lined up perfectly down the aisle and accompanied by our gold lanterns. All of these elements together made the ceremony feel like a forest dream. If you want a forest wedding, this is a perfect example to draw inspiration from! but don’t forget to include us in your magical day, because if you used this wedding for inspiration, it would be a wedding we don’t want to miss.
